What does it mean to be a member of Kiwanis?
As a Kiwanian you will have the opportunity to participate in many hands- on community projects.  Our quarterly food drives that serve needy families in Wilton and our yearly home rehab project in partnership  with Homefront  are examples of the many opportunities to serve. Additionally, Wilton Kiwanis members mobilize a number of successful fundraisers that have typically raises over $40,000 per year, funds that are redistributed to worthy, qualified civic projects or qualified non profit entities.   Working and serving together in each community project. Kiwanians build life lasting friendships with each other and with members of our community
When and where are the meetings?

We meet on Wednesdays at 12:00 at the Episcopal/Presbyterian Church complex on New Canaan Road (WEPCO).  In the summer, meetings are held every Wednesday at 12:00 at Kiwanis Park (the pavilion at The Wilton Y).  (insert link for directions to both places)

Meetings are generally as follows:

·         11:45 – 12:15      Get-together with libation

·         12:15 - 1:00         Buffet Lunch with club announcements

·         1:00 – 1:30           Informative Speakers

How much does it cost to be a member?

You will be billed $160 each quarter.  This covers your weekly lunches, District and National dues and operating expenses of the club. All fund-raising amounts collected (after expenses) goes directly to the Wilton Kiwanis Foundation for distribution to qualified projects or entities.

It works out that you are only paying under $14 for a 3 course meal, a great value!

How do I become a member?

Come to two meetings as a guest. If you want to join, two Kiwanians will sponsor you as a member.  All you have to do is fill out a membership application (click her for membership application) and give the application to the Membership Chair.  Before you know it, we will induct and introduce you to our club  at one of our weekly meetings.

For any question, please email the Membership chair at membership@kiwanis.org (????)
